Yes, for job seekers and students. The career assessment, pathways, skills gap, job matching, applications, course comparison, Career Passport and AI coach are all free. Employers pay to post roles and search talent, and education providers pay for referrals. That's how it works.

We compare your Career Passport against the requirements of the role. Skills carry the most weight, then experience, then qualifications, then location, salary, your stated preferences and whether the role sits on your career path. Every score comes with the reasons behind it, and the gaps.

They see what you share. When you apply, the employer receives your Career Passport and the application material you approve. If you turn on talent search, employers can find you. You can turn that off at any time.

No. We disclose your information to an employer when you apply, and to an education provider when you ask to be referred. Beyond that it goes only to the service providers who run our infrastructure, under contract. The full list is in the privacy policy.

No. Ranking is based on how much of your actual gap a course closes, whether it's the qualification your target role expects, how you can study, how long it takes and what it costs. Where a provider pays us a referral fee we label it on the course.

It gives career guidance based on your profile, which makes it far more useful than a generic chatbot. It isn't legal, migration, financial, taxation or medical advice, and it can be wrong. Check anything important.

Yes, from the app: Profile, then Account and privacy, then Delete my account. It removes your Career Passport, applications, saved roles, assessment results and coach conversations permanently. Export your data first if you want a copy.

Yes. Tell us the general category of your work rights and we'll show relevant work and resources. We aren't a migration agent, so for anything about your visa conditions we point you to the Department of Home Affairs.

Sixteen. Students under sixteen use it through their school, under the school's own consent.

They're indicative, drawn from advertised roles and published data. Actual pay depends on the employer, the applicable award or agreement, your experience and the market.

It depends on the occupation. Some are assessed by a professional body, some by a registered training organisation through recognition of prior learning. Work Ready Australia in the app points you to the right assessing authority.
